Hi WannabeMommy – The reason for the full bladder is that it helps in 2 ways: 1.) It allows good ultrasound visualization of the catheter which helps with smooth and proper transfer of the embryos to the best location, and 2.) it also unfolds the uterus to a more accommodating angle which makes the process easier and less traumatic for both the endometrial lining and the embryos. Crazy the stuff I am learning!!

I had to do the pee in a cup or 2 thing also and it’s really a rediculous expectation under the circumstances. Congrats though! And, your embryos look good (not that I know) but it does look like one is an overachiever or textbook grade A blastocyst. Best wishes…

Things come in 3s my friend, third try with 3 embryos should only = success!!! Who knows you may have triplets and that would be a doozy of a 3
