Dirk and I have been together since 2002, meeting in Edmonton. We moved to Victoria in 2007 and this is where we plan to stay.

Life is full of changes and surprises. After Dirk and I sold the restaurants we took the time to travel. This was something we always wanted to do, and being unemployed was all the more reason to do this.

Over the past year, I have had time to reflect on where I have been and decide where I want to be. The one thing I know, I am good at numbers and I find comfort in them. I would need a job that reflected my strength and passions.

That is when I decided to open a bookkeeping company. With my accounting designation (CMA) and an MBA, I think I can make a pretty great career of helping others run their business.

As my company forms, I will ensure I let everyone know of my progress. Until then, enjoy my travels with me and my husband. Because when we are done, I’ll be hitting you up for clients.
